Your rotator cuff is a group of four muscles (supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres minor, and subscapularis) that pull in different directions stabilising the shoulder allowing for full range of motion. Rotator Cuff Syndrome occurs when these four muscles are not working together properly. This causes the ball and socket forming your shoulder joint to not function properly because of the unnatural pulling angles which results in pain, restricted movement and shoulder deformities, like forwards rolled shoulder or scapula winging.
